The course is helpful and fun, but the grading system is not good at all
The content is mainly differnt lab techniques and experiments, which you will use to write lap reports.
The professor is nice and explains things well.
The grading system is terrible, if you do everything you need for a 12 but get less than 80 for example on the lab test, you get less. The grades other than the lab test is pass/fail, but honestly normal grading would have been better and more fair. If you don't need this course tho, I would still recomend doing it because it helps you with lab and research information.

2L03 is probably the most useful of the mandatory LIFE SCI courses. It is extremely organized by the course instructors, so you'll know exactly what you need to do at all times in this course. The downside is having weekly lab assignments to do, as they can take up a pretty good chunk of time, and it's a bit draining to do every single week. However, doing the assignments will teach you so much about how to write a research paper and create publishable scientific reports, so what you gain from this course is super valuable. People complained about this course when I took it but that's only because of the lil ******* in life sci who can't handle a course they actually have to work for to 12.
Dr. TB is a wonderful professor. Her lectures and instruction were always clear and straightforward. She's also quite approachable, got nothing bad to say about her.
The Pressbook is your bible. Use it wisely and you will do well on the lab assignments. Budget out your time well so that you have enough time to work on your weekly lab assignments in small chunks. Establish solid deadlines throughout the term for the group project so you're not scrambling to finish it near the end.

Not too difficult of a course. Some interesting concepts, and a lot of things that you'll have seen before in other courses. Evaluations weren't too difficult either.
