Prof: Angela Wang / Summer 2021

Comments on the course

I took this course during the summer and it was taught by one one of the TAs that covered the course in the winter. This is a very easy course for anyone with average or above math skills since 90% of difficulty of the course is memorizing and identifying the correct formula for a given problem. Hardest part of the course imo were the Excel labs, however, most of the instructions are given in advance which are very easy to follow.

Course Content

Content was two midterms, 5 childsmath assignemtns and 5 Excel labs (also on childsmath).

Advice

Make sure to practice as much as possible.

Prof: Anas Abdallah / Winter 2021

Aug 27, 2021

Comments on the course

This course was shockingly easy. I had no background in finance or commerce and had no trouble. The assignments were quite challenging but the TA's showed you how to do most of the questions in the tutorial. The midterms and exam were extremely fair.

Comments on the professor

Dr. Abdallah truly wants you to succeed. He is one of the best profs I have had in undergrad. He explains everything in depth and loves getting questions from the class. His slideshows are organized and give you room to write out the answers the questions right under them.

Advice

Use the textbook and practice the questions to study for midterms, a lot of the midterm questions are very similar. Go to tutorials if you need help on assignments and participate in the lectures.
