Definitely a hard course; will weed people out.

Don't fall behind, it is near impossible to catch up. Also avoid MSAFing because you don't want the diabolical exam weighing anymore than it does.

Dr. Childs is fantastic; arguably the best math prof for first year eng. Very sweet and helpful; his in-class examples are pretty much verbatim for what shows up on the childsmath and tests.

If you're some sort of natural prodigy, you will need to put a lot of hours into this course. Read the textbook for exemplar problems if you're stuck on a concept, organic chem tutor for concept explanations, spam the practice problems and childsmath.

Difficult class in overall. Definitely not for the weak
