Introductory calculus course with review of pre-calculus functions, algebra, and trigonometry. Equivalent of Grade 12 Calculus in High School. Basically the same course as MATH 140.
Pre-calculus review: functions + inverse functions (polynomial, reciprocal, trigonometric, exponential, logarithmic, square root), graphing techniques + asymptotes*, trigonometry basics (definition of sine, cosine, tangent, their reciprocals and inverses, special triangles, radians, identities). Calculus material: limits, indeterminate forms + l'Hopital's Rule, Squeeze Theorem, differentiation (limit definition, techniques, implicit, logarithmic), linearization of a function, Extreme Value Theorem, Intermediate Value Theorem, Rolle's Theorem, Mean Value Theorem, very simple antidifferentiation. *Will be explored more in-depth using calculus concepts
Very nice and supportive.
Do practice questions and attend tutorials.

If you did well in high school calculus this course should mostly be a review.
Don't overlook definitions they give or anything they label with "theorem"; theorems and definitions help save time on homework and exams.
