this was an orientation course. we were split into groups made up by our campus living locations (learning community) and given a peer mentor (you can apply to be a mentor if you've taken the class). it was awesome. kind of boring, but really useful stuff.

mostly speakers so its a long time of sitting and listening. there was no homework other than bringing questions to class to ask the speakers. once a week we split off into our groups with our mentors in a different classroom to talk about next lecture. i loved my mentor she was super sweet and super helpful.

they were great. they didnt do much other than organize who was gonna come speak to us. like they were there to do introductions mostly but its okay because they arent professors their advisors. absolutely love them tho. floyd was my advisor before i changed my major and i still talk to deb every now and then.

bring airpods and sit in the middle of the row so no one can see you have them in and just like watch a show on low volume so you can still hear the important stuff cause like the class was really useful but it was soooo boring.
