Prof: Cary Pint / Spring 2026
Jun 18, 2026
I enjoyed lecture, as it was fascinating, but holy moly was it difficult. I would be sitting there in class and know what's going on, but the second that I left, I would forget it all and be clueless. I would take notes, but once I would go back on them id have no idea how I did the step to go from A to B. Prof. Pint was the goat though. Very very nice guy, and he always tried his hardest to make the class seem fun and interesting. You can tell he loves his job which is nice. Prolly the only thing that kept me going to class. He also helped me create a study plan for the final which helped since I was lost in the content. That allowed me to really pull though for the final and pass the class. If you have to take it, TAKE IT WITH CARY!
Forces = mass*acceleration. Angular acceleration and angular velocity when you start learning it. It builds off that a lot. Basically statics mixed with physics and diff eq.
See above mentioned :))

Prof: Barbara Lograsso / Spring 2022
May 13, 2022
It's a hard class. I lost most of my points because I stopped showing up to lectures. It's painful, but in your best interest to go.
It's like statics, but Forces = mass*acceleration, among other things. Get a good hold of angular acceleration and angular velocity when you start learning it. It builds off that a lot. Those who went to office hours seemed to do better and understand more.
Prof Lograsso is nice but she flies through the content and rambles through the problem instead of explaining the steps. It's a hard class, but was not made much easier.
Get ahead right away. Learn to make Force-Body Diagrams and Kinetic Diagrams, those don't go away. As well, do homeworks as soon as you can so you understand what's going on. These assignments will take all day if you procrastinate.
