The class was an easy A as long as you put in the work. Dr. Lavigne is really accommodating and strives to make the class something that you really want to do - the project is really open-ended and fun.

Dr. Lavigne is absolutely amazing. He has a great passion for mathematical biology, and the class is really interesting.

This class made me love math again. Not gonna lie, having lectures on Mondays at 8:30 was not fun, but his enthusiasm made me more awake. The exams were reasonable, you had to study for them a bit but, if you did, you were good to go.

Professor Lavigne is a real gem of a professor. He has thoroughly helped me and supported me this semester and without his help, I would have certainly not achieved the grade I got. He is very accessible, teaches concepts well, understanding, accommodate, and can clear any doubt you have in the subject
