I didn’t get much out of it, I was scrambling to get all the homework done coupled with that the instructor was too lazy to actually teach.
All of the work for this class is done outside of class - very homework heavy and hard to retain when so much is assigned. There were over 50 assignments due within first month of the semester. Instructor refused to extend due dates because it “would’ve taken too much time” on her part.
Lectures were useless and boring, often went off on tangents and wasted class time so there was no time to apply what was being taught, which wasn’t much. Very unhelpful, and if you asked her a question, she’d just say to refer to the book. Was very unreceptive to student feedback when concerns were expressed about her ineffective teaching.
Assignments are very time consuming but shouldn’t be taken too seriously —It’s obvious that she doesn’t look over them and just gives good grades as long as completed. Do what needs to be done and not expect to learn from this instructor.
