I absolutely loved this course and it made me fall in love with film photography. The professor was excellent and she was very helpful. A lot of us were able to progress throughout the quarter.

I wouldn't say the course is useful but it did create a new interest for me. You learn a lot about lighting for photos and how to develop photos.

Set some money aside for the class, I spent around $150 dollars out of pocket for film and photo paper. Also, make sure you have a lot of free-time and patience, as you will be spending a lot of time in the darkroom.
