The subject material itself is extremely interesting. I went in with no - low expectations and left with immense gratitude for the material and the prof.

This online course was very straight forward with clear expectations, guidelines, weekly essays, one ethnography, one midterm, and one final. There is a textbook and all assignments are essay-based.

Prof is very professional, caring, collaborative. She worked with me & my wonky work schedule and life circumstances. I respect her a lot. I wish she could teach at my home university.

It is mostly self taught. You need to know how to pace yourself. Each week is assigned a chapter of the text and is accompanied by a related film or article.
