Professor Vincent was by far the best math professor I've had if not the best overall. His ability to whittle down complex subject matter into understandable chunks is quite simply amazing. I took it as a senior ME and the load was high but it was manageable, make sure you don't miss any classes and take note of everything he writes down. He WILL ask you questions in class at random about the next steps in a problem etc and will stare you down until something is said, maybe prodding with a question or two to get you going, but he does this with a friendly demeanor as he does the rest of the class. Would highly recommend him for as many classes as you can take from him.

I had Ervin for Numerical Methods as a sophomore in ME and he was by far the best math professor I had. He is extremely intelligent and he knows mathematics a very fundamental level. His education background is pretty remarkable as well. Ervin’s notes are clear and he is a good lecturer. He has a dry sense of humor but he can make you crack a smile every once in a while. One thing to watch out for are the exams. All of his exams were fair however he does not allow an equation sheet or calculator(although it could be different for your class). As a result I had to memorize every single concept, definitions and formulas for the final exam which was difficult for me.
