Red flag when the professor has the class make their own syllabus

I'd spend almost 12 hours a week trying to decipher difficult readings and turn it into an essay. It's mostly busy work. The course is interesting but the delivery through video lessons of Maori and overcomplicated readings of friendship wasn't great.

It's an interesting class but the course concepts were disconnected. The language Maori and topic friendship was really disconnected. Professor didn't speak the language so it was odd he was 'teaching' it.

He tried to make us come to class for 12 hours over the weekend...

don't. Easy language credit though
