Recommend taking this course to anyone. Study artists like Elvis, Madonna (Good to know about for the exam) and others. Most of class time is spent listening to music. Professor would bring in his guitar to play for the class. Test and exam had fill in the blank questions and short essays. You also have to do an essay about pretty much any music topic you want as long as you can relate it to the course. You might need the textbook, there were shipping problems from the supplier when I took the course so the professor excluded you from needing to study material from it.
