Comments on the course

A lot harder than GERM 1110, but also more interesting concepts come up. Some days when you leave class, you'll feel fluent which is pretty cool. The grammar is heavy, but learning it in depth and practicing it helps A LOT for GERM 3110.

Comments on the professor

Frau Finger is the best German prof I've had! She's very supportive, and offers a lot of extra help to anyone who wants it. As long as you're trying to understand and actively seeking help, she will help you succeed.

Advice

Do all the homework, go to office hours, and don't hesitate to ask questions. The class isn't usually very big, so making friends is easy, and then you can practice your German together!

Frau Finger is absolutely the best for any German course!

Comments on the course

Super fun class as long as you put in the work. A little less focused on grammar than GERM 3110, but it builds a lot on what you learned in other German classes.

Advice

Practice outside of class with others if you can, and make sure you do all the homework.
