You are in aero eng because you like planes. If you don't like this course, consider a new engineering program. GO TO THE TUTORIALS AND TAKE NOTES. The lectures were great but I didn't bother taking any notes, because the prof made his annotated slides available. Plus most of it is common sense to any aviation enthusiast or people with a PPL anyways. The tutorial is where the real stuff happens. The course itself is extremely straightforward. It teaches you how a plane works (duh), how the parts come together, how to draft up basic dimensions based on design requirements, and ultimately you'll design a fixed-wing aircraft and model it in CATIA. The aircraft varies, some years had a long range UAV, some had a business jet, my year had this urban air mobility VTOL doodad. CATIA is difficul...read more
GO TO THE TUTORIALS AND TAKE NOTES THERE!
Jeremy knows what he is doing and replies to emails very quickly. 10/10.
