I am about to fail the class or withdrawal, and many of my peers are too. We have these canvas quizzes that we need to 100% on by a certain deadline or we automatically fail the class. Also we cannot miss more that 6 classes or we also fail the class. These canvas quizzes that we have to do, they are around 30-40 questions, and the 30 question ones, we only have 7 minutes to complete them. I have taken these quizzes about 15 times each and still cannot pass them because of the time limit. The 40 question quizzes you get 15 minutes to pass them, which is better but still difficult to complete. One of my peers gets double time on their tests and they still cannot pass the quizzes within the time limit. The course content was exactly what you think it is. It depends on your major whether it is useful or not.

My professor is a student teacher so she is pretty new, but she can also be very rude sometimes and not that helpful. She pulled me aside after class one time because of my canvas quizzes that I am not doing well on, and she told me to use the tutor which I figured she would say. The rude thing about the conversation was that she started by asking me what instrument I played and if I knew how to read music. This is basically a level two music theory class, and I told her I played piano so I know how to read music. She basically asked if I was a random person who got into this class out of pure luck.

The quizzes are insane and only take it if you are serious about music.
