For a gen ED, I got what I expected and was happy with it.

The content mainly consists of lectures, project related assignments, and textbook readings with quizzes. The amount of reading could be dropped to be low to improve the class as practicing oral communication is much better than reading about it. Some may find the content useful, I'm not in that category due to my time as a debate kid, but I could see how it could be. The class goes over how to talk and present pretty well and makes you practice it with projects.

The professor was not really involved too much, but that made the class easy to do on your own.

Make sure you have a web cam and proper microphone to record with. If you have bad internet be prepared to upload large files or compress them.
