Comments on the course

(For context, my session was David Shier’s “good life” class. Idk about the others) A decently easy & interesting course about different schools of philosophical thought on happiness. Watched a lot of videos/movies for this one

Course Content

A few quizzes on lecture slides, about 5 or so essays on films + lecture info, and a final project where you follow a philosophy of your choosing for a few weeks and then write a short essay about it. (This was online; things may be different in-person)

Comments on the professor

Nice, lenient professor who’s clearly interested in what he’s teaching (Also, be prepared to hear a lot about The Good Place, it’s his favorite show)

Advice

The amount of essays I would have to write. I’m a pretty seasoned English student, so it wasn’t a huge problem, but for some people it might become an issue
