Pretty easy and interesting course. John Blong is passionate about what he teaches and you can tell. If you're not going to lecture, you will fall behind, unless you're David Goggins and have the mental strength to go through every slideshow. Just go to lecture, he makes it easy to understand. Every lecture usually ends with a participation assignment where you answer a question related to what you just learned. He gives a study guide for the quizzes, so I just run through that three or four times until I understand what every question means. Then I ace the quizzes. The final exam is one of four questions that he tells you since the beginning of the course, so you have the entire semester to come up with an answer.
Lots of things, culture, human evolution, primates, genetics, whole buncha stuff that I can't remember. Maybe not useful in your day to day life but it is very interesting to understand the stuff you learn. Like I thought we evolved from monkeys, like everyone. Monkeys and humans actually evolved from a common ancestor, not humans evolving from monkeys.
Great, he loves what he teaches and makes it engaging. He does anonymous surveys during class and asks what we think of something.
Go to lecture, study the study guides before quizzes
