Class was ok. I have been told that the type of writing instructor teaches is not what we will end up using for our majors. Workload was very heavy, with some assignments being given as little as 2 days to complete. Instructor doesn't always give great advice on what topics to choose, just tells you what you can't use. Overall an ok class only taken because school requires it.

Teaches writing and researching from a scientific/engineering perspective. Formats are based on type used in major.

Instructor was attentive and quick to respond, but expected class to complete heavy workloads in short amounts of time. Expects formats to be followed exactly, uses bad writing from previous classes as examples on what not to do.

The amount of work given will put a strain on time, making it a bit more difficult to finish all homework. Be sure to allot extra time for these assignments.
