It was ok. I had already taken a lower-level Operating Systems class for my Associates degree, but I felt that this class was far more in-depth and involved.

Lots of technical knowledge and discussions about it. I didn't retain a lot of the information so I don't know how useful it will be.

Ted Beers is kind and understanding, especially if he sees that you are doing the homework and reading, and really trying. He unfortunately has a tendency to write his assignments and questions using the lifetime of computer knowledge that he has built and expects students to understand what he is asking for or what he means. Clarification is often required.

Do the homework, do the reading, study if you need to and you will do great.
