If you can, take this class with anyone but Nneji. It's useful information to be sure (you go over how to write for the media industry in a broad sense) but Nneji's lectures are rambley, disorganized, and not helpful towards the subject at hand. If it's available to take with another professor (especially since it's required for comm. majors), I highly recommend you do so.
The one good thing I can say about Nneji was that his workload was fairly light (at least for this class, for his other classes I know this is definitely not the case). Aside from that, he had us purchase a textbook that I did not use throughout the entire class (as he never ended up assigning anything from the textbook because he changed his mind on the usage at the last minute). He essentially uses class time to lecture vaguely about the subject at great length and only used the last few minutes of class to talk about assignments. If you ask him any questions, he'd answer them in a super condescending manner as if you were supposed to know already.
