Despite this being a different variant of WRT200, it was still actually very easy! Professor Duval's way of teaching was very inspiring but if you get bored and go on your laptop, he won't care and will make sure everyone walks out with a little bit of knowledge regardless.

Professor Duval's curriculum surrounds simple in-class assignments once a week and writing 3 essays that surround films you watch during class while making comparisons between multiple movies.

Duval was a very laid-back guy in general. Yes, he was more on the serious side but not by much. It was evident to me that he loved his job because of how enthusiastic he was about the subjects he was talking about.

If you have to take a WRT200 class, I suggest taking WRT205 with Duval. It's a simple class that will help you become a better writer at the same time. He's a lenient grader and will give you full credit for the in-class assignments if you somehow miss his classes.
