This course has thus far been my most difficult. Prf. Waters really doesn't believe in giving 100% to any student and truly just belittles students who aren't the best at writing. Coming from a student who went to a public school that had never written essays at such length before this class was already difficult, but having a teacher who truly made me feel as if they didn't care made me unmotivated to do the work.

Each class, you have an article and a discussion post that is fairly short but the articles sometimes amount to over 20 pages. There are the usual essays (argumentative, research) that every class has. Lots of busy work that really provides nothing to the class or idea of aging that you couldn't assume yourself.

Not a pleasant person at all. She is rude and unprofessional with feedback and grades based on her own opinions, with no clear rubric. Better off taking any other writing class.

It might seem philosophical, but truly, we all know that ageism is a thing, and we learn nothing more nuanced beyond that one idea. Just go the easy route.
