The concepts in the course were general enough but it can be boring because the prof just read off each slide and every lecture was over 100 slides like so dreadful.

The course content was introductory and general but somewhat organized by different topic.

The professor was new to the sociology department when she joined the department at that time. She will give you some stupid questions like "what is my full name? How many TAs are there in the course?" on the exam but do not believe her exam is lecture heavy, there were also a lot of contents that she tested from the textbook. But just memorize the concept will be fine.
