This course is grammar intense but also a lot of articles to read. The first article was definitely not for first year student who comes from core french background. It is weird they want students learn the materials with panic and definitely not interactive (all is just lecture lecture lecture)

The prof was however really good. He has a lot of humours and always bring music to each lecture. Definitely go to his office hour if you can!

If you can skip this course with scoring higher on placement test just do it then take senior year course. Don't waste your time on it.
