Content is mostly a rehash of 103, extremely boring, and easy, honestly had trouble staying awake. Despite this, midterm averages were 51 and 53 with no scaling. Tests much harder than necessary to assess understanding, lots of focus on specific wording and trick questions (read none of the above MC). For an elective this class is much too hard and not nearly interesting enough. Do not recommend.
First 60-70% is mostly relearning ECON 103 material, sometimes in slightly greater depth. Last 30-40% is new material on cost-benefit analysis. Not really too useful or interesting. Regret taking this class.
Seems nice. I like the accent and occasionally funny. Repeats a lot of concepts, somewhat like if he was teaching high school or middle school classes, making it honestly somewhat boring attending lecture. Yet, tests were brutal considering the difficulty of the material. Both midterms had 51 and 53% averages with no scaling. Prof blamed grades on attendance, not teaching or assessment style.
Don't take this class if you want to learn something interesting or want an easy elective. Or, just don't take this class.
