Comments on the course

I took this class as one of my comp studies for SENG. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it unless you already have an innate interest in philosophy. I took this class thinking it would be easy, but overall it does require some effort in order to get those higher grades. There's a LOT of reading, I'm talking 20+ page papers every week, and some of the material is terribly uninteresting. I speed read 10+ papers like this 3 days before the final, and got away with a B. If I remember correctly, there was also like 2 papers, which weren't too bad, the first one I did on abortion which is a pretty interesting topic and the second I don't remember. Lectures are literally just PowerPoints talking about the paper for that week, and discussion.
