I took this a while ago with Grace. She's super caring and will help if you need it. I think my section was her first time teaching this, but she did a great job. I'm gonna sound wacky but I really enjoy soci stats courses, and this one was pretty easy compared to 271. It was a continuation of what was learned, and we had two midterms and a final I think. No lab for this course which was great. No textbook needed as most of the material came from in-class notes. Attendance isn't "mandatory" but highly suggested if you want a good grade.

I took Quantitative Research Methods during COVID so she made all of the quizzes and tests open book, although higher difficulty. We did not have a textbook so lectures were mandatory although she had very few synchronous classes (although she recorded them). Grace was a very considerate prof and would go out of her way to help students do well and understand the topics. Got very difficult the last few weeks as the application of the topics began (versus just conceptual application)
