Emma was a fun teacher. The class content was standard economics and at times monotonous. Quizzes and Exams were riddled with typos and odd wording, making it hard to understand what they were asking for.
Econ 103 was very demand-side focused. I'm not sure if it's helpful but seeing it in a real-world application is cool.
Emma was very scattered, tired, and overworked. She would frequently make comments relating to her lack of sleep and rest. However, she would crack jokes all lecture in efforts to keep us entertained.
Be ready to outsource your learning ie Youtube videos for concepts you are unclear on.

As an elective it was a pain in the ass since i was lazy, but there were a lot of recorded lectures to learn from, but they were tedious to get through sometimes. Like the other reviewer said, best leave this course until its in person. She had quizzes based off the lectures scheduled to keep the students on track, and there are 3 midterms held during labs. Some students will grasp the material fairly quickly, while others will have to work through examples to drill it in. She has her own textbook that she wrote for the course where you can do practice problems. i think the breakdown was like this 10% x 3 midterms 45% final 10% labs 15% quizzes you can find past midterms and questions on studocu so make use of those cuz she has been recycling some questions
If you're looking for an easy chill elective find something else.

good person and very passionate about the course but from my understanding the class was much more organized in-person. Online, however, Emma's lectures and homework are riddled with grammar errors, incorrect answers and poor coordination. Was not a fun experience to do online whatsoever.
Wait until this class is offered in person
