One of my most enjoyable courses! I took 390 with Edwin, he taught it on "Far right Extremism." It's his research area so he's very familiar with the subject matter, and also a super passionate and engaging lecturer. Attendance isn't mandatory but you won't want to miss a class. Topics are somewhat unsettling at times, but Edwin will give content warnings. Wish I could take this class again honestly! Course content is a few reflection/minor research assignments, an in-class midterm, and a final paper. Assignments were marked by the TA who I felt was a bit harsh.

Take this course with Edwin, you won't regret it! He's super passionate and open to hearing about your interests as well.

Dr. Hodge is an absolute wonderful prof and just general human. Very understanding but definitely not a push over or anything like that. He explains concepts so completely and clearly. This class was a lot of fun and opens your eyes up to a lot of things.

Take this class with Hodge if you can, and prepare to have your opinions challenged.
