This course is structured to be taken by those who either a) have already taken it once and failed or b) already have experience in the course material. There is little to no ability to practice the concepts taught in the course outside of graded work. Meaning that students must do with the underdeveloped and poorly presented explanations in class to be most of their learning, if you arent able to understand the in class explanations then you will likely do poorly on the course, there is little way to compensate.

You will never use the content in this course unless you are planning a future in mathematics, which the overwhelming majority isn't. The class covers the basis of mathematics, proofing the concepts that are assumed to be true in all other aspects of life. The only credible take away from this course is surviving threw it.

The lecturer I had was nice as a person but not ment to be a teacher. He writes extremely quickly and gives minimal chances to ask questions. The material he teaches in class is taking 1 to 1 from the textbook, meaning that the learning experience is no better then simply reading through the textbook on your own time. However, due to the unscheduled and random in-class assignment, you are discouraged from simply skipping class.

DO NOT take this course if you can help it. Unless it's specifically required, you will gain nothing from the information you are able to learn in the long term and the learning experience is insulting at best.
