Another mandatory course for Soci majors, so not sure if anyone cares about reviews. Especially since Bill is retired now. He rambles a bit but is also insightful at times. I enjoyed this course as I'm interested in social theory. Readings were weekly pdfs.

Attendance not super mandatory; there were random check-ins via writing assignments. Textbook used a lot for midterms/final. Easy to find a used copy. Blog assignment and final paper included too. Bill is pretty chill but he can go off on random tangents sometimes when lecturing. His lectures are pretty dense but he can also be insightful. He's retired now I think so it will probably taught by someone else going forward.

Teaches about the social view of religion; context around religion, not necessarily religious aspects themselves.
