The lectures are mp3s and extremely dry and monotonous. They sound as though the prof is reading outloud from a book. And there are instances where word-for-word it is the same in the textbook.

do not take this course unless you are seriously devoted to the music THEORY or HISTORY profession. It is NOT a course for casual or pleasurable learning.
