This course teaches the fundamental basics of accounting. It is a great course with a lot of work. Exams make up the majority of the final grade.

This course is the fundamental building block that other accounting courses down the line will build on. It is extremely useful if you are an accounting major, and for other JSOM majors, it is mildly useful.

Professor Files is an amazing lecturer who clearly provides her examples and explanations very effectively. The workload can be very big, and this is a somewhat fast-paced class.

For the best results, try to study outside of class, go the extra mile. This is a course where the more practice you have, the better you are prepared.
