Addictions was a great elective for me. I have a family history with substance abuse, and this course helped provide better understanding into what those experiences are like individually and socially.

The course takes students through a historical timeline of addiction, informing them on common substances, treatments, and social attitudes throughout time.

Dr. Bradshaw was wonderful to work with. His course takes a very understanding and empathetic view towards addiction as opposed to a hostile one.
