Comments on the course

If you are familiar with programming this class will be a breeze. Unfortunately, we didn't get into the more advanced topics in the textbook, but overall the class was fun and relaxed.

Course Content

I felt like the textbook was pointless. The only thing I used it for was for the chapter problems that were assigned in the first three or four assignments. Also, the textbook is online for free through Oreilly Books for students. Good to know if you are like me and try and get a hold of books as soon as possible.

Comments on the professor

Prof. Brim is a fairly comical character. He loves to sing in class, ask trivial true/false questions live, and tell stories of his banking days as a software developer. Overall, he is a nice guy that tries to help everyone in the class understand the material.
