This is THE firewall course. If you want to learn anything and everything about setting up a firewall, take this course. It was really fun, and had a bunch of attention to detail stuff

Firewalls, making firewall rules (iptables), Information Assurance, Hacker Attacks (required to sign a ethical contract at the start of the semester) and how to prevent them

Professor was alright. He's usually just okay. He's very clear on what each module is, what it does, how it's used in firewalls, etc.

Get a good understanding of Linux, since that's all you'll be using. You will take the VMs made in ITE 384 and use them here

Really interesting course; you will need to do alot more work outside of class if you don't pay attention in class

Stay absolutely engaged during subnetting, it's not as hard as it seems
