Prof: Thomas Tran / Spring 2020

Aug 25, 2021

Comments on the course

This course is due for a redesign as it includes references to deprecated html and css. Very focused on the html and css properties, some vanilla client-side javascript, and a very small amount of class devoted to server side (php).

Comments on the professor

Prof hewed very closely to the textbook and described each detail. He did not seem to like being asked questions in the middle of class.

Advice

The marking for assignments was very rigid, don't submit anything that uses topics not covered in class.

Prof: Thomas Tran / Summer 2021

Comments on the course

This course is very easy if you have any prior experience with web development. The first two months are just HTML, CSS and JS, then you learn very basic databases, PHP, and a couple other small things. If you already know Javascript you're basically set for an easy A.
