Please do not take this man if you can help it. I ended up struggling to self-teach because he mainly reads slides, goes on tangents, and goes very fast through the material. By very fast, I mean we were going through approximately a chapter a week. Do the best you can on homework, attend lectures, and participate because it goes a long way. He does give a huge curve so don't be too alarmed if you aren't making the scores you want on the exams. I know some people who went out of their way to talk to him each class and he bumped them up a bit when they needed it. Take Trudell instead for organic chemistry if possible. He only teaches in the summer semester, but I've heard he is nicer and overall a better teacher. Some people I know who took Jursic and failed the class retook it with Trudell and passed with flying colors. Keep that in mind.
