Prof: Hokwon Cho / Summer 2022
Oct 6, 2022
This class is hard. Don't mistake that. Expect to study 10-15 hours a week with problems that are hard to decipher.
First part: Mean, median, and mode. Discrete vs Continuous. Combinatorics and Bayes Theorem. Second part: Continuous and discrete distributions. Double integration and by parts involved. Combinatorics as well. Expected values and Chebyshev's Theorem. Third Part: Confidence Intervals and Sampling Distributions. A lot of this class will focus on this.
Dr. Cho is very enthusiastic about Stats, but his exams involve many curveballs, w/ ones never seen in the HW. Test means were in the 50s before test corrections.
Review by parts & double integrals.
