Comments on the course

Pre lab and Post lab assignments every week. Very heavy pre labs sometimes. Final group project. Website: http://eelabs.faculty.unlv.edu/ >> EE Labs >> EE221L - Circuits II

Course Content

Very useful information. You'll start using a breadboard and learning about the equipment. You-tube before the labs so you know what is going on. If you have a good TA, they will help you through the lab.

Comments on the professor

The professor is unapproachable and seems like he genuinely dislikes students, tells you to "google it". You'll mostly be working with the TA's.

Advice

Start pre-labs early, finish post-labs within a day or two of completing the lab. Watch the videos on canvas even if they aren't helpful - it's just a repetition for you. The circuits in the early assignments are from the book (Fundamentals of Electric Circuits - Alexander/Sadiku). Don't stress too much about the assignments though, TA's grade generously even if you are wrong.
