AST 4002 is Galactic Astrophysics, it focuses less on stellar (4001) and more on galactic formation, interstellar medium, etc. There are definitely elements of 4001 in here, and that knowledge comes in very handy. Homework would average around 6 hours a week, and based primarily on lecture.
