Comments on the course

I had the 4 week version of this class. It was heavy on the reading and writing in the beginning but

Course Content

This Professor was very engaging in conversation and gave prompts that made the course interesting. He provided a lot of information at once but it was all very digestable.

Comments on the professor

This professor was extremely professional and kind. He was engaging with the content and I learned a lot on research that has already helped me improve in other classes. A lot of participants did not show up for the initial zoom which was extremely disrespectful to this professor and his time. Only 3 people initially showed up in a full class. This teacher was really great and didn't deserve that.

Advice

SHOW UP. This class is the opposite in workload that you are expecting. This is one of those classes that can be easy but you need to lock in at the beginning. Usually classes build a foundation and then become hard based on the knowledge. NOT this class. This class IS the foundational knowledge you need for ALL research. THAT is the class. It requires your full attention the first few days because the due dates are so close together. This class is heavy on the uptake for about 4-6 days straight. The due dates are close together. It slows down A LOT after that, but missing the zoom classes puts you at an extreme disadvantage aside from the disrespectfulness. The due dates are close together. *foot stomp* IYKYK
