Something inside you will die :) this course will suck the remaining life out of you. You will be a new person at the end of the semester.
Very vague! The lectures are all about how to survive as a group. And the project itself? - figure it out yourselves. Not much of a guideline. Everything YOU and YOUR GROUP needs to figure it out. You will fail and fail and fail - endless all nighters and meetings then you will get it (hopefully). Some tips? - starts deliverables earlyyyyyy! - talk to other groups as much as possible… don’t go with “oh I’ll just figure it out” when someone might have already done it. Just ask!!! Trust me you this course will always give you new problems so minimize the amount as much as possible.
well… ask them questions and also if possible verify your steps with them or with TAs. Make sure you read the deliverable instructions
- you will not have any social life - take easy classes ( least credit) cuz you’ll spend 20+ hrs at least on this class in driftmier - start early!!! - don’t put everything on one person pleaseeeee! You’ll regret it. - if one person isn’t doing enough or if you’re the person who’s doing too much - COMMUNICATE before you bomb the checkpoints - make sure more than 1 person codes and actually knows what’s what - test each step and make sure everyone is on the same page. - document everything! Those docs you do every week will help with end of semester report

This course is supposed to be taken your third year. You know what else happens your third year? You turn 21. I'll let you determine if it's a coincidence or not.
It's a semester-long group project where you have design and build a given project from scratch. Group work? Yes. Weekly written submissions? Yes. Long documentation and manual due at the end? Yes. Presentations? Yes. Quizzes? Yes. Attendance as a grade? Yes. Concepts far beyond what you've learned from your classes? Yes. Practical? Yes. Fun? If you're a *********, then yes.
Very vague. You'll ask for help about how to do something and they'll just hit you with that 🙂 look (HR director stare). Then you'll get a 50 on a deliverable you worked hard on then a 90 on one you crapped out. I don't even know what they're looking for anymore.
Drop all of your hobbies, quit your job, give up on your social life, stop calling your parents, no more reel scrolling, and make sure all of your other classes are baby courses like "Intro to Pooping," because this class will be your life for the next 4 months.
