The class itself is okay, but it’s kind of boring because the same concept of “*** and sexuality are tied with power and oppression” is repeated throughout the semester, just in different contexts. However, I appreciate the diversity of opinions with the students taking the course, which makes for some interesting discussions.

Dr. Broad is a nice Professor to have. In general, she’s considerate of her students and their opinions on the topics discussed in class. For the exams, she asks students for suggestions on what questions and topics should be featured so we have some say in what we’re tested on.

I’m in a STEM major and have taken sexualities classes before, but I probably should have looked more into the previous syllabi more before taking the class as an elective.
