Prof: Yeatman / Summer 2026

Very decent class (as compared to FOR TOX I). Module content very concise and the recommended text was helpful for finding info needed for assignments. 13 modules- open note quiz and assignment due every week. Optional discussion boards. Final exam (proctored via Honorlock). Assignments required a fair amount of research and the topics are relevant to the weekly module.
Discusses the chemistry, pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, pharmacological effects, analysis, and interpretation of all drug classes. Plus other topics: metals, post mortem tox, human performance tox, doping control, and expert testimony. Information very relevant for a forensic toxicology career.
I didn't interact much with the professor but he did respond promptly when messaged via Canvas.
If taking during the summer, try your best to work ahead because there are 13 modules and only 13 weeks in the semester which means the exam was due before the last assignment. Working ahead provided extra time to study for the final exam.
