This is one of THE BEST UF classes I’ve ever taken. I have to give Vale and Baiser credit for making two intimidating topics - statistics and R - totally approachable. This course made me feel like I could read scientific papers’ Method sections with ease, and like I would be an asset in the job market. These skills are not to be overlooked, THIS COURSE IS GOLDEN.

So useful. You learn statistical tests and their components while learning how to write code in R to run the tests on real data.

Professors were amazing. I didn’t have contact with either as this was an online course, but I did not need to rewatch lectures to understand and they are both easy to follow and well-organized.

You don’t have to know anything about statistics or writing code before taking this class! Best part!
