Nothing in this class was explained well, often leaving the students confused and annoyed. Attendance is not graded, but the lecture material is never posted online unless it is specifically code in R. The information given for exams is not actual info, but just topics that she expects you to know with no further context. No practice problems or exams are given, so you're pretty much just left in the dark. The textbook is old, and the professor does not reference to it at all. Do not take this class unless you absolutely have to!!

She is a grad student professor, so that already sparks some red flags in terms of teaching quality. She gives almost no information outside of the lectures, but also does not post them online. If you did not attend class, or were not able to, you simply would not have the information. Her lectures are also pretty hard to follow, and the few practice examples that she gives in class are often not congruent to the types of problems on the exams. She's hard to follow, and unfortunately not perfect in her english grammar, adding unnecessary confusion at times.

Find someone who has previously taken the class and hope they still have their past exams. Use them for practice and you will do well, otherwise good luck.
