Prof: Matthieu Felt / Fall 2020

Aug 30, 2021

Comments on the course

A lot of readings but they are very insightful if you truly care about Japanese culture. Essay assignments are moderately difficult but the professor didn’t grade too harshly.

Comments on the professor

Very nice and passionate professor! He actually left very detailed feedback on my papers! I wish I could take more classes with him.

Prof: Ann Wehmeyer / Summer 2020

Aug 30, 2021

Comments on the course

Lengthy readings and lectures. A lot of the stuff wasn't that interesting, and I ended up forgetting most of it by Fall.

Comments on the professor

Wehmeyer's lectures (online at the time) were legnthy and monotonous. It's really easy to get bored/distracted/sleepy listening to her talk.

I wish I took this with Smith instead.
